RAIDER
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
RAIDER is an infinite open world top-down shooter, where you raid villages and my submission to the 2nd vault jam. It was made in tophat, an easy to use, yet powerful engine. Shameless plug end. You will be raiding villages using your magic abilities like magic bullets or a shield. Beware! Strange influences affect the world. You can get slowed down to a crawl, or the village can be wiped in the blink of an eye.
CONTROLS:
- WASD movement
- E - shield. Makes you invincible for a while
- SPACE - dash. Makes you go fast and invulnerable. It can also harm enemies.
- ENTER - shooting. Shoots either left or right
- ESCAPE - exits to the main menu. Use this, if you get stuck in a tree.

My high score is 67!
I noticed that in the tutorial sometimes you can’t shoot (it still plays the sound though). Is that a bug or is that supposed to happen?
Yes. That is a bug, but it was too hard to reproduce and I was running out of time.
